SBS Trucking opened for business
in May 1999. SBS Trucking is one of three divisions
formed from it's parent company, School Bus Sales Co., which
was started in the late 1950's. The other division is
Cedar Valley Mobility, which was started in 1996. Charles
Andrews of Waterloo, IA is the owner of all three companies.
Andrews has had a life full of trucks and trailers. He started working at Warren Transport, a family run business,
and continued to work there for eleven years. He held
many various jobs dealing with the ins and outs of trucking
and really started to enjoy being around the big trucks. In
September 1999, an Operations
Manager was added and as of January 2006, SBS has become a successful
operation with over 30 trucks.
SBS Logisitics, a division of SBS Trucking was formed in January 2006. SBS Logistics is a tool that can not only benefit your freight movement needs but also benefit other trucking companies attempting to get to and from your areas.
